The two OYSTERCATCHER chicks, hatched at Moor Green Lakes have now fledged, which is very pleasing, as they are the first to be bred there. The resident pair of LITTLE OWL have also been successful in rearing two young. They were sitting together on a branch of the oak tree, near to their nest.
BLACK_HEADED GULL have been very successful this year, after an absence of two years. Approximately twenty five or more gull chicks have been hatched, as well as a few COMMON TERN, lets hope the predators keep away until they fledge.
