The weather here in the south of England has been very good since 'Lockdown' began, so I have spent a fair few hours birding in the garden. Obviously birds seen have been either in the garden or within sight from the garden.
The most common birds seen on a daily basis were, House Sparrow, Starling, Black Headed, Herring and Lesser Black Backed Gull and Woodpigeon, closely followed by Blackbird, Magpie, Jay, Carrion Crow, Jackdaw, Goldfinch, Robin, Dunnock and Blue and Great Tit.
Other birds seen on a lesser basis were, Peregrine, Red Kite, Buzzard, Sparrowhawk, Coal Tit, Swallow, Collared Dove and Great Spotted Woodpecker.
I hope to add to the list as long as the lockdown lasts.
